Discharging patients from assessment units

You can discharge patients from assessment units from Patient Detail > Patient admin > Discharge from assessment unit.

You can record the outcome of a visit from  Inpatients > Patient Detail > Patient admin > Show pathways > Inpatient. You can record the outcome before or after you discharge a patient.

Discharging patients from assessment units on a mobile

You can't do this on a mobile.

Discharging patients from assessment units on a desktop

1. From  Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail , select Patient admin > Discharge from assessment unit.

2. To choose a discharge form, select  next to the name of the discharge form.

3. Complete the form, including all mandatory fields.

   Mandatory fields are marked .

4. Select Save.

5. Select Depart or Discharge.

   The label on this button depends on your organisation.
